K9 Scooper Heroes LLC Terms of Service

1. Overview and Agreement
By using our services, creating an account, submitting a request, or allowing us onto your property, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
These Terms govern all services provided by K9 Scooper Heroes LLC, including recurring pet waste removal, one-time cleanups, and any add-on services.
2. Scope of Service
We provide professional pet waste removal from reasonably accessible outdoor areas. This includes scooping, bagging, and hauling waste off-site.
Unless otherwise stated, service does not include:
- Landscaping or yard maintenance
- Removal of debris such as leaves, straw, or overgrowth
- Access to confined or obstructed areas (under decks, trampolines, etc.)
- Hazardous or unsafe conditions
We reserve the right to limit service to safe, accessible areas. Service may still be considered completed if partial due to conditions.
3. Scheduling and Service Days
We operate on optimized routes. Exact arrival times are not guaranteed.
- Service frequency (weekly, biweekly, etc.) reflects general intervals, not exact day spacing
- Routes, service days, and technician assignments may change at any time
- We may reschedule due to weather, safety, or operational needs
A requested service is not confirmed until:
- A valid payment method is on file
- We have successfully confirmed the appointment
4. Appointment Confirmation Requirement
We must successfully contact and confirm service details before an appointment is finalized.
We are not obligated to hold or reserve a time slot without confirmation.
5. Yard Access and Client Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Providing safe and unobstructed access
- Maintaining reasonable yard conditions
- Securing pets
- Keeping account and billing information accurate
We do not:
- Enter homes or garages
- Handle pets
- Work in unsafe or hazardous areas
If access is not possible, the visit may be charged as a completed visit.
6. Pet Count Accuracy
You must accurately disclose the number of dogs on the property.
If additional or undisclosed dogs are present, we may:
- Adjust pricing
- Charge retroactively
- Suspend service until corrected
7. No Access Visits
If we arrive but cannot access the yard due to:
- Locked gates
- Unsafe conditions
- Aggressive animals
- Obstructions
The visit is considered completed and may be charged.
8. Service Conditions and Limitations
We perform visible-only cleanup under conditions such as:
- Snow, leaves, or debris
- Mud or poor visibility
We do not guarantee complete removal in these conditions.
9. Excess Waste and Time-Based Service
Service is based on reasonable time allocation.
If conditions require significantly more time due to:
- Heavy accumulation
- Missed visits
- Additional dogs
We may apply additional charges.
10. Add-On Services
Add-on services may include deodorizer or sanitizer treatments.
- These services are not included in base pricing
- They are charged only when performed
- They may be skipped due to weather or conditions
We do not guarantee specific outcomes and are not liable for:
- Grass discoloration
- Surface reactions
- Sensitivities
Clients must disclose any concerns in advance.
11. Pricing and Billing
Pricing is based on:
- Dog count
- Yard conditions
- Service frequency
- Route location
Recurring services are billed monthly in advance based on scheduled visits.
Monthly totals may vary.
12. Payment Authorization
By using our service, you authorize us to charge your payment method for:
- Recurring services
- One-time cleanups
- Add-ons
- Applicable fees
13. Card Verification
A temporary authorization charge (typically $1.00–$1.50) may appear when adding a card.
This is not a fee and is released by your bank.
14. One-Time Cleanups
Full payment is required before service unless otherwise agreed.
We may cancel or decline service if payment is not secured.
15. Refunds and Credits
We do not provide refunds for:
- Completed visits
- No access visits
- Scheduled or reserved services
We do not prorate or partially refund unused visits.
Account credits may be issued at our discretion.
16. Pet Count Changes
If a pet is removed, rehomed, or passes away:
- Pricing adjustments apply to future billing periods
- Any unused value may be applied as account credit
- No prorated refunds are issued
17. Route and Pricing Adjustments
We reserve the right to adjust pricing based on:
- Route efficiency
- Travel distance
- Service conditions
18. Property and Lawn Disclaimer
We are not responsible for:
- Pre-existing yard conditions
- Lawn wear from normal foot traffic
- Hidden hazards
19. Pet Safety and Gate Liability
You are responsible for ensuring gates and enclosures are secure.
We are not liable for pet escapes due to:
- Faulty gates
- Improper latches
- Unsafe property conditions
20. Health and Sanitation Disclaimer
Our service removes visible waste but does not:
- Sterilize your yard
- Eliminate all bacteria or parasites
21. Service Guarantee
If an issue is reported within 48 hours, we may re-service the area.
This is the sole remedy.
22. Right to Refuse Service
We may refuse or discontinue service for:
- Safety concerns
- Nonpayment
- Abusive behavior
- Operational reasons
23. Client Conduct
Abusive or inappropriate behavior toward staff will result in termination of service.
24. Communications
You agree to receive service-related communications.
You are responsible for monitoring your contact methods.
25. Cancellation
Service may be canceled at any time.
Cancellation takes effect after:
- The current billing period
- Any scheduled services
Reactivation may require new enrollment and updated pricing.
26. Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service or $100, whichever is greater.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
27. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio.
28. Updates to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of service constitutes acceptance.
